Do you know the recipe for apple, walnut and chestnut trifles, an English autumn dessert to eat without moderation!

Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 2 apples
- ½ lemon
- 50 g walnut kernels
- 4 small Swiss
- 4 large tablespoons of chestnut cream
- 1 C. to s. sugar

Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut into very small cubes. Lemon them. In a mortar, roughly crush the nuts. In a bowl, place the small Swiss and sweeten them.
Divide in 4 large verrines successively a good tablespoon of chestnut cream, the apple cubes, the crushed walnuts, the small Swiss. Garnish with a hint of chestnut cream and a few pieces of walnut.

Always keep a jar or an airtight box filled with walnut kernels close at hand; they will decorate a salad, a white cheese with honey, homemade bread, a From Pumpkin Soup, a chocolate dessert (cream, cake)… or a cheese platter, quite simply.
