An original recipe that will be ideal both as a starter or as a light dish accompanied by a salad, the Ham and Roquefort Bricks.

Ingredients for 4 persons :

  • 100 g of roquefort
  • 6 bricks sheets
  • 4 slices of cured ham in strips
  • 10 cl of cream
  • 50 g of chopped walnuts
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 strands of thyme
  • Salt pepper

Crush the Roquefort with a fork and work it with the cream. Add the nuts and the ham, pepper.

Preheat the oven to 210 ° (th 7).

Divide your pastry sheet into 2 half-discs. Place 1 spoonful of stuffing on one end, fold over by folding the upper corner over the stuffing then to obtain a triangle, fold the resulting triangle back on itself and slide the remaining end to close.

Brown and close the edges with egg yolk diluted in a little water. Sprinkle with thyme.

Bake for 5 minutes and serve immediately.

Recommended wine: a Coteaux du Languedoc red.
